For a last-minute vacation we turned to La Magia di Cefalonia.
Everything was perfect. We stayed for two at the self-catering studios at Magic Kefalonia Villa in the village of Spartia. It was clean and functional, with a garden and pool that were tended every morning.
Quiet location with parking in front of the studios.
The Panda car rented for us by Paola was delivered and collected at the airport, and on the day of our arrival the rental agent accompanied us to the Studios.
We thank Paola from La Magia di Cefalonia who was available to accommodate our every request.

Wonderful holiday in Kefalonia, a natural paradise, we spent a week from 14th to 21st September, we don't like crowds so September is the perfect time for all people like us who want to enjoy the beaches, the sea and the whole island in peace; in fact, few Italians and very many English.
The accommodation is located in Spartià, one of our favorite villages. It's a new building, not yet fully completed, but the accommodations, studios, and apartment are truly welcoming and tastefully furnished. A kind lady comes by every day to clean and change towels, and another man cleans the pool. Everything was perfect. And considering we were alone for the first four days, it was truly heaven.
The owner of the accommodations was very nice and available via WhatsApp for all our requests. Even the neighbors are all courteous and kind.
Kefalonia is an island that makes you fall in love with the variety of its beaches and we really liked Pessada and Petani, more than Myrtos and Antisamos, much more crowded, the sea is crystal clear everywhere in some places you can swim for miles as if in a swimming pool.
Don't underestimate the fact that in Spartia there is a taverna called Kavo Liakas where you can eat divinely, they are super friendly and their dishes are divine.

My husband and I spent a holiday at this property.
Completely new building in a quiet setting surrounded by nature.
We stayed in a spacious studio apartment, tastefully and elegantly furnished and complete with every useful accessory.
Guests also have access to a swimming pool with umbrellas and deckchairs.
The Italian owners greeted us at the airport and accompanied us to our destination. They were friendly, kind, and available to answer any questions we might have.
The island is worth visiting in every part of it and we will definitely return again.

I had the pleasure of inaugurating the apartment as soon as it was finished, so everything was new, fragrant, perfect!!
Paola and Umberto, along with their two teenage children, are always available to help, provide information about the places they've loved for years, and help with any issues you may have, ensuring your vacation is a carefree one. The studio apartment is bright and spacious.
The very efficient kitchenette is equipped with everything you need, from a Bialetti moka pot to a trio of pans and pots in various sizes. You'll also find a breakfast kit consisting of coffee, toast, and honey! Finally, fresh fruit is on the table!
Finally, an Italian bathroom, without the typical problem of islands, with toilet paper regularly thrown down the toilet!!
A table and umbrella allow you to eat outside in a peaceful, bucolic setting. The beach and supermarkets are just a couple of kilometers away. There's a pool, but with the Kefalonian sea, it's only good for an evening swim! Everything was great, I highly recommend it.

I stayed for a week (I returned on Tuesday, August 17) at Magic Kefalonia Villa, with Paola and Fulvia.
Splendid location with a super pool and everything very clean and well-kept.
I purchased the car package and couldn't have made a better choice. In my opinion, the location is one of the most beautiful and evocative in all of Kefalonia.
You can have coves with sand or stones or long beaches where sometimes there were very few people... it happened at 10 in the morning that it was just me and my husband.
I had the opportunity to explore and explore the entire island in just a few days. Overall, everything was beautiful, and Paola and her lovely family were always there to welcome you with a smile and a warm welcome, ready to offer suggestions on where to go the next day or where to have dinner.
Highly recommended for those seeking serenity and tranquility in contact with unspoiled nature.

My family of four and I are returning from our vacation on this enchanting island.
Kefalonia was a wonderful discovery!
Breathtaking views and beautiful beaches for all tastes: from white sand to golden sand to wonderful coves with small white pebbles: crystal clear water everywhere.
We stayed at the Residence Poseidon: an excellent property in a strategic location just 10 minutes from Argostoli, very well-kept and clean.
Towels are changed every day and sheets every 3.
The owner, Vaghelis, speaks excellent Italian and is always available to offer valuable advice on beaches and the best restaurants.
A sumptuous buffet every morning!

We spent 10 wonderful days in Kefalonia. The apartment in Lassi (a charming village full of restaurants where you're spoiled for choice, and very close to Argostoli) was very nice, clean, and equipped with everything you could need in a vacation rental.
Linens were changed every 3 days, and we had a wonderful time!
Special thanks to Paola, who assisted us every step of the way from booking to our arrival, and continued throughout our vacation with advice on what to do and where to go!!! We highly recommend choosing the Magic of Kefalonia, and especially the fantastic Paola!

My husband, our 12-year-old son, and I spent our 10-day vacation on this beautiful island. We are very grateful to Paola, who promptly responded to all our emails and fully accommodated all our requests. Umberto met us at the airport and accompanied us to pick up our car (a spotless Nissan Micra) at the nearby Rent Car Kefalonia, and he provided us with invaluable advice and information. Marina Studios in Argostoli is spotless and functional, about 800 meters from the center, in a perfect location, far from the hustle and bustle, with always available parking. Cleaning is daily, and sheets and towels are changed every three days.
Our studio overlooked the sea, and enjoying breakfast on the terrace while enjoying the view was the perfect way to start the day! There's a restaurant in front of the studios with excellent cuisine. And what can we say about Mrs. Maruso? A perfect host, generous with attention and advice on beaches and places to visit, tavernas where to eat, and unmissable events and festivals.
Kefalonia is enchanting, unspoiled, with breathtaking views, beaches for all tastes, white, yellow, red, and gray sand, fine and coarse white pebbles, free or private, and with facilities at truly astonishing prices. For a "set" of umbrellas and two sun loungers, we spent 9 euros at most for the whole day.
The sea is splendid, with crystal-clear waters populated by many varieties of fish. We were also lucky enough to see an octopus and stingrays, while we spotted Caretta Caretta turtles in the port of Argostoli.
On our last day, Kefalonia also gifted us with the sight of a pod of dolphins not too far from the shore. We visited many beaches and villages, but there is still so much to see, and although we rarely return to the same place, we are considering returning to this wonderful island. We will undoubtedly turn to the professionalism and helpfulness of Paola and Umberto at “LA MAGIA DI CEFALONIA,” which we have already recommended to friends and relatives.

We had no doubts from the moment we left: a beautiful island, unique sea and beaches. The accommodation was lovely, the staff were kind and attentive, and we remember Angelo and his wife always attentive to our little needs.
Poros is a very quiet town (even too quiet), a bit far from the most famous beaches, even though our goal was to get to know the island as much as possible. We happily covered the approximately 2,000 km in our rental car.
Thanks to the support you gave us via the e-book you sent us, we never felt lost, and it was very helpful when researching places to visit.
We will definitely never forget what we saw and experienced; who knows, maybe we'll fly to Kefalonia again next summer! Thank you for everything, Alessandro and Stefania.

Thanks to Paola Fusè and “La Magia di Cefalonia,” we spent 10 wonderful days in a splendid place. Everything was perfect!
The studio we chose is modern, spotlessly clean, and functional, managed by the incredibly friendly and dynamic Marina, always generous with attention, suggestions, and advice (Eagles Nest in Lourdata, from whose balcony you could look straight out onto paradise); the managers of Kefalonia Rent Car were extremely efficient and courteous, and, in addition to providing us with a spotlessly clean new Panda, were able to address any of our difficulties with Paola; the organization's support for flights, luggage, and everything else was always attentive and effective.
And then there is the island of Kefalonia, from Sami to Antisamos, from Skala to Koroni, from Xi to Myrthos, to Fteri and Petani, to Melissani: there are no words to describe the mild climate, the beauty of the sea, the green of the cypress trees, the kindness of its inhabitants. We appreciated and enjoyed everything, including the turtles.

We returned from Kefalonia yesterday, and what can I say… it was a wonderful holiday!
The sea is spectacular, and Dina Apartments in Razata, where we stayed, is in an excellent location given its proximity to Argostoli.
The apartment is elegant, well-maintained, and clean. The owner, Mr. Grigoris, is particularly kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

And here we are... suspended between dream and reality. We're flying back from a wonderful vacation; it seems like yesterday we landed in Kefalonia, but instead, a whole week has passed! After an April and May of constant rain, we arrive in Spartia.
It's a quiet little village, where time seems to stand still and all you hear are the calls of roosters, goats, and occasionally kittens and nocturnal animals. This alone makes you forget the stress and worries of everyday life. Without wasting time, we head down to Pessada, the little cove with sand that feels like chopped hazelnuts.
My son loved it right away, and it was our favorite of the entire vacation.
The next day, we set off on an adventure, traveling along the entire south coast and stopping for a swim in Katelios, a village where we also had lunch by the sea.
Not to mention the friendliness of all the residents and all the restaurant owners! Excellent food at amazing prices: what struck my husband most was the price of umbrellas with bar service on the loungers (you know... the lounger needed some relaxation!).
We passed through Skala, Poros, and Sami and finally reached Antisamos: a cascade of greenery plunging into the sea, almost surreal, accustomed to our landscapes. The next day we dedicated ourselves to the real beach life, relaxing at Makris Gialos, and the evening was spent strolling around Argostoli. The next morning we didn't miss an encounter with turtles at the port: very exciting, and then, walking across the bridge, we admired the town reflected in the water, which almost looks like a lake landscape.
After buying lunch at a lovely bakery, we then headed to Xi, a fantastic beach that gives you a sense of total freedom; my son ran until he dropped! On Wednesday we visited Kaminia beach, unfortunately on a very windy day... this beach resembles the large beaches in southern Sicily we know, so it didn't leave us with any particular emotion.
And suddenly, here we are, admiring the majesty of Myrtos! It's so large and turquoise it's breathtaking... truly speechless. All the familiar adjectives aren't necessary here; you just have to see it.
On Thursday afternoon, we head north to spend a few hours in Foki: I don't know why, but I'm already sure this little cove will be my favorite after Pessada. Indeed... I wasn't wrong... an olive grove by the sea with fir and cypress trees reflected in the water, and even they ask themselves: "But what do we have to do with the sea?" "Nothing, but we decided to sing with the wind for these little murmuring waves."
Fiskardo keeps us company for dinner, and the cicadas lull us through the night, tired but happy to have had the privilege of seeing such places. Our last day passes peacefully. In the morning, we spend time at Amnes Beach; it's special to see planes landing just meters from our heads while we play.
In the afternoon, we move to Petani Beach, and it's there that, after a delicious dinner of seafood spaghetti, we say goodbye to the sun as it dips into the water, leaving its wake behind, a smile that promises us a goodbye!

A dream vacation!
Paola was extremely responsive to our requests and found the perfect solution for our two-week vacation. Umberto, who met us at the airport and accompanied us to pick up our car, provided us with invaluable advice and helpful information.
Sami proved to be an excellent base for exploring the island.
The property, complete with a pool, met our needs, and the terrace allowed us to enjoy breakfast outside every day.
The cleanliness and friendliness were top-notch!

I must begin by saying that when we plan a vacation, we choose to visit cities of art, historical monuments, or experience new cultures and customs; the sea has never been a primary focus.
In fact, we're both poor swimmers, so the decision to go to Kefalonia was a bit unusual.
Our daughters, however, had been very impressed by Argostoli during a stop on a Mediterranean cruise three years ago, and we decided to indulge them with this trip.
Luckily... we discovered a splendid, unspoiled island with breathtaking views.
We went from coastal stretches with the whitest pebbles to beaches of fine sand in a variety of colors, from organized beaches to almost unknown coves, from colorful villages where hospitality and cats reign supreme to arid hills crisscrossed by goats.
The sea is truly splendid; perhaps words can't describe the colors, ranging from crystalline blue to emerald green. It's a sight to behold... we even took long, incredible swims!
Paola's impeccable organization made everything perfect: choosing the flight, renting the car, renting the apartment, along with her invaluable advice and recommendations for making the most of every day.
Not to mention the owner of the property, always available and present, who tidies and cleans the house daily, and her husband delighted us with fruit picked from the courtyard. In short... we couldn't have asked for anything better.
We rarely return to the same place on vacation, the world is so vast... but perhaps we'll make an exception for Kefalonia.

We are two couples of friends and we went on holiday to Kefalonia for the first time this year from 4th to 11th July.
Before leaving, we had already savored what turned out to be an even more delightful vacation, based on Paola's stories. We drove over 500 km, eager to discover new places every day, always guided by Paola's precious advice.
The island is truly beautiful, with a splendid sea, ranging in color from light blue to turquoise, from deep blue to an incredible emerald green! There are many beaches, with white pebbles, sand, and even rocks, to suit all tastes, and each offers something unique.
Even on the most crowded beaches, the tourists were never noisy or intrusive. The houses and residences are beautifully integrated into the surrounding greenery and nature. We felt right at home, hosted by Anna Maria and Iannis, as well as by Angelo for breakfast.
The locals we met were all friendly and welcoming.
The countless tavernas also offer good food at reasonable prices.
Overall, this island was truly a wonderful discovery; we've already recommended it to all our friends and can't wait to return!
